At the May 2015 17th Annual International Energy Psychology Conference the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) honored Judith A. Swack, Ph.D. by awarding her the “Contribution to the Field Award” for her major contribution to the field of Energy Psychology.
Dr. Swack was nominated for this award by other notable leaders in the field including, Barbara Stone, Ph.D., author, teacher and developer of the Soul Detective work, Gloria Arenson, past President and member of the Board of ACEP, and Sharon Cass-Toole, PhD, CCA, RP, DCEP, President and Executive Director of the Canadian Association for Integrative and Energy Therapies (CAIET).
Judith Receiving Award Cropped 1In introducing the award, Dr. Phil Mollon, head of the ACEP Ethics committee said, “The recipient of this award represents a very important frequency within the ACEP spectrum. She is a real scientist – she has a PhD in biochemistry – and numerous publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. Her work addresses the embodied soul – working with the body, mind, spirit, and relationships, to facilitate the soul’s mission – and to identify and remove the interferences with this.
Naturally psychic, she displays courage in being willing to explore realms that might frighten others – engaging her enquiries always with the attitude of a true scientist. Over many years she has developed one of the major and most original approaches with the Energy Psychology family – sometimes copied (not always giving her credit). Refreshingly forthright, she can at times be gloriously honest. Her work is called Healing from the Body Level Up – and she is, of course, my good friend Judith Swack!”
In accepting the award, Judith said, “I have spent many years in my office/lab with my clients and colleagues developing HBLU. It is now a robust and extensive body of work, and I’m focused on making it readily available to all mental health and healing professionals. I have realized that it takes an organization to get that kind of reach. ACEP is my organization and I’m happy and honored to be a part of it.”
